The COVID-19 pandemic has caused considerable challenges in the way people with epilepsy are able to manage their condition and how health services provide support for assessment, diagnosis and treatment. New technologies and remote consultations for routine and emergency care have been adopted at a pace never seen before. To drive the development of new innovations for people with epilepsy at this time, we put out an urgent call for proposals in July.
These funded research projects are only possible due to the generosity of you – our incredible supporters. This year has been tough for everyone, so your support at this time has meant so much. We sincerely thank you for enabling us to continue funding vital research into epilepsy.
These grants are just one of the many ways our supporters are giving help for today and hope for tomorrow to everyone affected by epilepsy. A life free from epilepsy is possible. But only through research.
