Abbie is Cancer Portfolio Lead at NIHR. Prior to that, she was Senior Programme Manager (Strategic Projects) at the National Cancer Research Institute.
Abbie has a PhD from Barts Cancer Institute, the Queen Mary University of London in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in cancer research. An active and engaged steering group member of the UK Epilepsy Priority Setting Partnership, Abbie has also joined the research steering group of #Every1EndingEpilepsy. Her extensive knowledge of the setting up of NCRI and the challenges faced will be of great value to the Epilepsy Research Institute UK.
