Simon Lodge is a non-executive director with broad international leadership experience as a director, chief financial officer and actuary in the life insurance industry. He has helped to lead strategic, cultural and technical change in large, global businesses.
Simon served for six years as the Chief Financial Officer for Europe at Canada Life and before that spent eight years as the Chief Financial Officer for the US life business at Zurich Insurance.
He is a Fellow of the Institute & Faculty of Actuaries and holds an MA in Mathematics from the University of Oxford.
Simon’s commitment to support the work of the Epilepsy Research Institute has been strengthened by his experience of epilepsy among members of his own family.
