Dr Sukhvir Wright is a Consultant Paediatric Neurologist and Welcome Trust Clinical Research Career Development Fellow. Sukhvir is a former Epilepsy Research UK Fellow and current Endeavour Project Grant holder. Her primary research and clinical interests are in the neuro-immunological diseases of childhood, including autoimmune encephalitis and epilepsy, and acute demyelinating syndromes, such as multiple sclerosis. Sukhvir is also part of the Neuroimmunology team at Birmingham Children’s Hospital and works within Aston University’s Neuroscience Institute, investigating neuronal autoantibodies and developing novel treatments.
