Research Roundtable Webinar: Acquired Epilepsy

Throughout June on the Research Blog we took a closer look at acquired epilepsy. In 65% of people, there is no known cause of their epilepsy. But for others, epilepsy can be caused by many factors, including other medical conditions and brain injuries, otherwise known as ‘acquired epilepsy’.

Concluding the month’s theme, we held a Research Roundtable webinar, featuring fascinating talks from the experts and people with lived experience who have featured on the Research Blog this month. We learnt about the impact of acquired epilepsy and how our research is increasing understanding and improving treatments, to ultimately help a broad range of people living with epilepsy.
