Dr Janine Winterbottom is a Consultant Nurse Specialist in Epilepsy at The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust in Liverpool. In 2006, she was awarded the Sir Desmond Pond Fellowship.
Dr Winterbottom received her PhD in 2012 and is now dedicated to raising awareness of the struggles across the reproductive life course for women and men living with epilepsy and how best to support reproductive health through research and intervention. Dr Winterbottom is focused on driving research to improve our knowledge and understanding of hormones and their influence on the daily lives of people living with epilepsy.
