Dr Jonathan Lippiat is an Associate Professor of pharmacology at the University of Leeds. Dr Lippiat has a wide range of research interests in ion channel properties, structure, and pharmacology. He focuses on potassium channels, but also conducts research on calcium channels, chloride channels and transporters. Dr Lippiat has conducted research on the KNa1.1 sodium-activated potassium channel and KCNT1-related epilepsy. He has worked closely with structural biologist and medicinal chemists, as well as neuroscience researchers.
