Dr Rebecca Bromley
Exposure to medications in the womb and the possible impact on later child cognitive, motor and social development.
Dr Rebecca Bromley is a Senior Lecturer and Paediatric Neuropsychologist at the University of Manchester and Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. Dr Bromley is currently working with colleagues internationally to improve the researching and reporting of medication-exposed pregnancies. Her focus here is on improving the neurodevelopmental investigations within pregnancy pharmacovigilance and as part of this she co-leads the UK Epilepsy and Pregnancy Register. Alongside a multidisciplinary team and in collaboration with patients, Dr Bromley runs longitudinal studies that aim to optimise outcomes for pregnant women with epilepsy and their children.
