The Epilepsy Research Institute and Sam’s Superheroes Foundation are delighted to offer a co-funded studentship to support a PhD student to investigate Febrile Infection-Related Epilepsy Syndrome (FIRES) and New-Onset Refractory Status Epilepticus (NORSE). Applications are welcome across the research pipeline, from mechanistic studies to applied care projects.
Applications are invited for awards of up to £110,000, over three years (FTE). Funds will cover basic maintenance and fees for postgraduate students working towards a higher degree in FIRES/NORSE. We invite applications from clinical, data and basic researchers.
