We are delighted to announce that the Epilepsy Research Institute’s 2026-27 Grant Round is now open. Researchers in the UK are invited to apply for funding to support research investigating the causes, treatments and prevention of epilepsy.  

In our 2026-27 Grant round we will have the following grant awards available: 

• Emerging Leader Fellowships, up to £350,000 

• Explore Pilot Grant, up to £40,000 

• Endeavour Project Grant, up to £200,000 

• Epilepsy Research Institute and Waterloo Foundation Endeavour Project Grant on the topic of Self-Limited Epilepsy with Centrotemporal Spikes (SeLECTS), previously referred to as Rolandic Epilepsy, up to £200,00

The deadline for preliminary applications is Monday 28 September, 4pm.
