The ILAE British Branch Annual Scientific Conference will take place at the Harrogate International Centre between Thursday 8th - Saturday 10th October 2026. We hope you can join us. Early bird registration rates will run until the 17th of August 2026.

Abstracts

The ILAE are accepting abstract submissions for the following categories, details of which you will find on the website:

• General Abstracts
• Neurobiology of Epilepsy (run by the Epilepsy Research Institute)

General Abstracts
In the ‘General Abstract’ category, prizes are awarded for the best Platform Presentations (1st prize – £250, and 2nd prize – £125). Abstracts can be up to a maximum of 400 words (this does not include references).

Neurobiology of Epilepsy
In the ‘Neurobiology of Epilepsy' category, a prize will be awarded for the best Platform Presentation on behalf of the Epilepsy Research Institute (£500). Abstracts can be up to a maximum of 400 words (this does not include references).
