Each year, the Graham family celebrate Andrew’s birthday with a fundraiser. Covid restrictions meant they were unable to do so in 2020, but this summer the pandemic was not to halt the commemorations. As they couldn’t all be together in person, they came together virtually for a Zoom quiz for 16 people, one socially distanced group completed a 10K walk and Kevin, Andrew’s dad, was both cycling and walking to support epilepsy research. Zoe and Ella, both just 4 years old, managed to walk 13.5K each! Even Cece the dog wasn’t to be left out, proudly wearing her neckerchief.
We were so pleased that we managed to do something to mark Andrew’s 21st birthday and remember Andrew and my sister Lynn who was also a great supporter of Epilepsy Research UK.
Jill, Andrew’s mum
Andrew was just 10 years old when tragically he passed away in 2010 and a staggering £70,350.31 has been raised in his memory to date. Our huge thanks to everyone who so generously donates and continues to fundraise in Andrew’s memory.
