Emily faces fears with abseil for research

Emily was due to take part in the 2020 Great North Run but when the event was cancelled due to the pandemic, she signed up to an abseil to raise money for Epilepsy Research UK instead!

This was a particularly challenging event for Emily as she is afraid of heights. However, she said, “fear is facing epilepsy, so this will be nothing.”

Emily conquered her fears on the day and raised £290 for Epilepsy Research UK. An incredible effort!
