Farnell’s Ride for Research

Over the last 17 years, Farnell UK has organised a golf day in aid of Epilepsy Research UK and in that time they have raised a truly staggering £175,000 from research into epilepsy through the continued support of their sponsors and players.

As with so many events last year, their 2020 charity golf day was cancelled, but they didn’t let that stop them from raising vital funds once more.

They launched a virtual cycle event, Farnell’s Ride for Research, and covered the distance from their Leeds headquarters to their office in Chicago. Together they cycled a total of 4,000 miles and raised an incredible £1649!
