Jeni’s skydive for Nanny, Grandad and research

Jeni took on a skydive this weekend in memory of her Nanny, who was diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of 79, and sadly passed away nine months later.

After Jeni lost her grandad, she spoke with her Nanny about doing a skydive together in his memory, but sadly never got the chance to do it. Jeni decided to go ahead with the jump in honour of both her grandparent’s memory.

Jeni said…

Doing my skydive was the most incredible and surreal thing I’ve ever done, even more so knowing the reasons to do it. I hope the money I raised for Epilepsy Research UK can benefit other families by helping discover why epilepsy can develop so suddenly and prevent other people from losing loved ones.

You can still support Jeni’s brilliant fundraising efforts here.
