The day was not the perfect condition one would hope for when taking on such a challenge. Kevin didn’t let the heat get in his way and was determined to complete the challenge for his daughter, Charlotte, who lives with both epilepsy and autism. Kevin said, “Her condition is controlled by medication and unfortunately it does affect the way in which she learns and retains information and has affected her education. Research is vital to understanding this condition and the more we understand it, the better we can control and deal with it.”
Kevin finished the race in an incredible 2 hours, 20 minutes and 55 seconds (coming 75th out of 190), not quite the time he was aiming for but a spectacular time considering the weather! Not only that, but he managed to raise an amazing £750 for research from his challenge. Thank you!
