During 2020, people have recognised the importance of medical research more than ever before. Charities like ERUK require funds to carry on their great work.
Mary, Murdoch, Hamish, Douglas and Lorna all donned the ERUK lycra for the challenge, riding 100km around the Pinner area on 16 August 2020 – the day that Ride London should have taken place.
Ride London was cancelled due to Covid-19. I have ridden it four times so far in order to support ERUK – the only charity whose sole objective is to fund research into epilepsy. During 2020, people have recognised the importance of medical research and its role in our society more than ever before. Charities like ERUK require funds to carry on the great work that they are doing.
