The Epilepsy Research Institute’s SAC is a panel of the UK’s leading neurologists, neuroscientists and epilepsy researchers. These epilepsy research experts sit alongside non-scientific ‘experts by experience’ and advise the Board of Trustees on scientific matters, including the annual research grant funding process

Early Career Researcher Observer opportunity

We are pleased to offer two Early Career Researcher Observer positions on our Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) as part of our 2026-27 grant round. This initiative provides early career researchers (ECRs) with the chance to observe SAC meetings throughout the grant awarding process, offering valuable insights into the research funding landscape.
