We are delighted to announce the next event in our Navigator Symposium series, which will focus on the theme of Rare Epilepsies.

The symposium will be co-chaired by Dr Marisol Sampedro Castañeda, Epilepsy Research Institute Emerging Leader Fellow and Neurodevelopment Early Career Theme Lead (Institute of Neurology, UCL), and Professor Cathy Abbott, who co-leads our Doctoral Training Centre at the University of Edinburgh.
About the Navigator Symposia
Our Navigator Symposia are designed for researchers working in the field of epilepsy and related conditions. Each event explores a different theme, highlighting the latest developments and providing a forum for sharing knowledge, sparking new collaborations, and generating fresh insights to help advance research.
Keynote speaker
We are especially pleased to welcome Professor Andreas Brunklaus (University of Glasgow) as keynote speaker. Professor Brunklaus will present on advances in antisense oligonucleotide-based therapy for genetic epilepsy.
