Epilepsy Research UK supporters across the country are taking on the #6forthe600 challenge to help fund vital research for the 600 people diagnosed with epilepsy every week in the UK. Reading through their incredible challenges, it’s a wonder some of our supporters are not over in Tokyo competing in this year’s Olympics…

The challenge is simple – just think of an activity based around the number 6, 60, 600, or even 6000 if you’re feeling Olympic-level ambitions! Then set up a fundraising page and ask friends and family to sponsor you to complete your challenge.

You could run 600 laps of your garden, wear 60 items of clothes, cycle 60km, create 6 pieces of artwork – there are no rules, so get your thinking caps on!

Georgie’s #6forthe600 Challenge – Jumping 600 times and baking 6 cakes

Georgie is doing the challenge for her brother who lives with epilepsy. She says, “600 people are diagnosed every week with epilepsy, people like my brother Jack. I’d like to raise some money for research so that they can find a way to stop it.”

You can support Georgie’s efforts here.
