Research in a hospital setting webinar

Dr Rhys Thomas, Dr Kate Baker's and Professor Markus Reuber

Date Published: July 1, 2022

Author: James Matejka

We often think of research as something to improve the lives of people in the future. However, plenty of the research we support is also making a difference right now. Throughout June on the Research Blog, we’ve been looking at examples of ERUK-funded clinical research and the impact it will make for people with epilepsy.

In this webinar, our fantastic blog contributors from the month, Dr Rhys Thomas, Dr Kate Baker’s and Professor Markus Reuber, discussed what clinical research is, how it makes a difference for people with epilepsy and how virtual clinics could still play a role ‘post-pandemic’.

This session was recorded at the recent Shape Network Live conference, held at The Francis Crick Institute – catch up on the full session here.
