Ali Ramsay is Director of External Affairs at the Epilepsy Research Institute, leading the organisation’s communications, policy, public affairs, fundraising and stakeholder engagement activities. With more than 20 years’ experience in strategic communications and public affairs, Ali has held senior roles including Head of Policy and Public Affairs at the British Veterinary Association and Chief of Staff in the UK Parliament. A Chartered PR practitioner, Chartered Manager and certified leadership coach, she is passionate about building partnerships, driving positive change and increasing the impact of research for people affected by epilepsy.
