Lara Carr is Director of Research & Impact at the Epilepsy Research Institute, leading the organisation’s research strategy, impact, and patient and public involvement. She joins from Young Epilepsy, where she managed a multidisciplinary research portfolio and built strong partnerships across academia, healthcare, industry and funding bodies. Lara holds a PhD in Psychology from Royal Holloway, University of London, with research focusing on interoception and its links to social and mental health.
