A very happy new year to you all. We begin 2026 with a brand-new section for you on our website: the Researcher Hub.
We’ve listened carefully to feedback on our previous Hub for researchers and have worked hard to create a refreshed central space that offers more comprehensive and accessible support for the epilepsy research community. The new Researcher Hub makes it easier to find information, connect with others, and share opportunities.
What’s new in the Researcher Hub?
We’ve brought everything you need together in one place, including:
- A Noticeboard of opportunities – funding calls, collaborations, events and more
- Find an Epilepsy Research Network near you
- Collaboration opportunities across disciplines and career stages
- A searchable Researcher Directory to help you connect with peers
- Curated resources to support your research and career
All of this and more is viewable in the ‘Researcher Hub’ tab on our website. Researchers can now also sign up to add your own notices to the Noticeboard and create or update your profile in the Researcher Directory, helping others find and collaborate with you more easily.
What do I need to do?
- If you’re researcher and already receive Hub Roundup emails, you’ll continue to get regular updates on opportunities and news automatically – no action needed.
- If you would like to sign up to updates, post on our Noticeboard and access collaboration opportunities, please sign up here.
What happens to my personal data?
All content and user details from the previous Hub will be securely transferred to the Epilepsy Research Institute at the end of January 2026, after which data held on The Hub in its current format will be deleted from their servers.
Your personal data (such as name and email address), originally collected at sign-up, is already securely held in our CRM system.
If you have any questions about these changes, please contact us at [email protected] and we’ll be happy to help.
We look forward to welcoming you to our new researcher community space and continuing to support your work in epilepsy research.
With best wishes,
The Epilepsy Research Institute Team
