We’re pleased to launch the Epilepsy Research Institute Early Career Researcher (ECR) Training Programme, designed to support and help develop talented and enthusiastic early career researchers in epilepsy.
We welcome applications from researchers in basic, data, or clinical fields who are:
- Enthusiastic about and committed to a career in epilepsy research (your prior work may have been in another area)
- Able to attend residential meetings
- Within five years of completing their PhD (or research-time equivalent)
- Based in the UK
The programme will include:
- A two-day residential meeting in early summer 2026 (29–30 May, TBC)
- A one-day meeting in May 2027, followed by the Epilepsy Research Institute Conference
- Online touchpoints throughout the year
Attendees are asked to contribute £100 towards programme costs. If funding is a barrier, please consider applying for our training and travel bursary scheme.
