Epilepsy affects one in 100 people in the UK. Three lives are lost every day, often suddenly and without warning. For too many, seizures can’t be controlled and causes remain unknown. Only research can change this.
Last year, we launched the #Onein100 campaign with a call for MPs to become Parliamentary ‘Campaign Champions’ and help change the odds for the 633,000 people in the UK living with epilepsy. People from all over the country wrote to their MPs and because of this we now have 18 champions who are starting to make a difference.

Today, we’re launching an interactive map showing which MPs have already pledged their support for epilepsy research.
If your MP isn’t yet on the map, you can help change that. MPs will only act if they hear their constituents’ voices calling for urgent investment into epilepsy research.
It only takes a couple minutes to send them a letter using our ready-made template. Ask your friends, family and neighbours to help, too. Every message counts and every new MP we reach strengthens the call for change.
